The Great Dry Land Yacht Parade "Sailing into Our 50th Year" This year's parade will be the kick-off for the City's 50th celebration with some special surprises planned. Be a part of this great event and celebration as parade participant, viewer, or vendor. The parade will cast off at 5pm on Sunday, December 11, winding its way through the city and arriving at theTowne Centre around 6:30 pm, where the festivities will begin. The evening will close with the awarding of the coveted homemade trophies. Categories are: Best Use of Theme, Best Use of Lights, Best Youth Entry, most Whimsical, Most Interactive, Most Artistic, Best Holiday Spirit, Best Animation, and Most Original.
