Business License Information

There is imposed upon the businesses, trades, professions, callings and occupations as defined in Section 8.1 of the Villa Park Municipal Code, a license tax in the amount prescribed by ordinance. No person shall commence, transact or carry on any business, trade, profession, calling or occupation in the City without first having procured a license from the City to do so. This webpage contains the various applications necessary for the conduct of a business ($50 for all businesses located outside of Villa Park), applications to apply for a peddler or solicitors license ($100/year or $50/5 days), and a charitable and religious solicitors license (no charge). Businesses within Villa Park pay $50 the first year, then a graduated scale based on the Gross Receipt Schedule found in the Schedule of Taxes for Professional Business and Services. An Affidavit of Gross Receipts is also required for all Villa Park businesses after their first business license.

Because these forms will require an original signature, they may not be submitted electronically. However, they may be downloaded and returned in person to Villa Park City Hall located at 17855 Santiago Boulevard, Villa Park CA 92861.
