Villa Park Elementary School Historic Buildings

The Orange Unified School District (District) proposes to demolish two buildings located within the center of the Villa Park Elementary School (VPES) campus that have been determined to be structurally unsafe. The buildings are vacant and have been fenced off from unauthorized entry. The two buildings would not be replaced; instead, the District intends to maintain the area as an open courtyard.
At the December 13, 2007 Orange Unified School District Board meeting, the District approved an agreement with the Planning Center to develop the Environmental Impact Report (EIR) for the destruction of the historical Villa Park School buildings.
